Sarah Storms (she/her) is a “remarkable” and “captivating” (Opera Canada) soprano with over five years of experience teaching various genres, age groups, and musical capabilities. Leading with curiosity and compassion, Sarah inspires music lovers through song as a teacher, performer, speaker, and choir director. Her expansive performance background paired with her love of learning invites an experimental and collaborative approach to teaching, inspiring creativity on and off-stage. Sarah’s lessons include learning skills such as healthy vocal technique, approaches to learning music and practicing, musicianship skills, theory, acting, and confidence. Sarah is a strong believer that everyone can and should make music!
Sarah is an active performer throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo Region and has performed with the KW Symphony Orchestra, Grand River Opera, Kitchener-Waterloo Musical Productions, Grand Philharmonic Choir, and more. Sarah also works as a Choir Director at a local church where she co-leads music ministry. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance with a Minor in Theatre Studies from Western University and a Diploma in Opera from Wilfrid Laurier University.
